5th Grade

  • Colored pencils
  • Crayons
  • A set of markers (washable and/or permanent)
  • Pointed scissors
  • Sticky notes (square or flags)
  • Pencil pouch (no large pencil boxes)
  • Ruler (with inches and centimeters)
  • 2 – 3 highlighters (multiple colors)
  • 2 – 3 pens (multiple colors)
  • 4 – 5 dry erase markers
  • Dry eraser
  • Glue sticks
  • 2 spiral notebooks
  • Earbuds (for Chromebooks)
  • 5 folders with pockets and brads (red, green, blue, yellow, and purple)
    • Most kinds find that plastic ones last longer!
  • Decorative folder (for homework only)
    • Binders and trapper keepers tend to be bulky and get in the way of work space. We do not recommend these large binders, but allow students to make a personal choice regarding these items. They tend to get messy and over-packed. They are also a hazard as students leave them on the floor!
  • Any other donations of Kleenex, Clorox wipes, Ziploc baggies, and cleaning cloths are greatly appreciated!
